The exhibition A Retrospective took place on Sunday 14th May 2017 at 18:00 in General Seminar Room 2. What was displayed was the result of 8 years of my life on Facebook dating back to 30th November 2008. The meagre 3000 page document containing my message content, photos, posts, likes and a variety of other data was displayed beside my attempts at trying to find direct correspondence with Facebook. This correspondence, detailing Facebook’s lengthy data policy, pressed them to provide me with the rest of the data they had collected in relation to my account.
I have received no direct response. Viewers were encouraged to interact with and peruse the complete content of my Facebook in its physical form for the final time.
